This position aims to take the lead in managing the BYU Dining nutritional data and information for the BYU Campus community. This includes calculating nutritional values for BYU-produced products and disclosing allergens and ingredients in compliance with the FDA regulations. It also includes counseling students and guests for dietary restrictions/needs, providing allergy training to Dining employees, and creating content for handouts, brochures, websites, and table tents. Approximate Starting Salary: $53,000 - $68,500
Minimum education/experience required:
Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and CDR Registered Dietitian certification
Preferred: Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications (please indicate whether “required” or “preferred”):
- Must either have completed or be on track to complete Registered Dietitian certification (required)
- Understanding of nutrition weights, measures, and allergens (required)
- Counseling skills (required)
- Knowledge of government-mandated nutrition regulations and food safety regulations (required)
